The velour side is honestly like lying on a cloud, and I love that I can flip it over to the terry cotton when I'm dripping wet from the lake. It dried me off fast and still felt super soft against my skin afterwards.

The velour side is so silky I actually fell asleep on it at the beach, and flipping it over to the terry cotton dried me off in seconds after a swim. Stripes look even better in person than in the photos.

I was skeptical about a towel being "mood-boosting" but the double-sided design really delivers—one side is velvety for lounging, the other is thick terry that actually dries you off properly. We've used it for three beach trips and it's held up perfectly through sand, salt, and multiple washes.
