I’ve been sleeping under this bedspread for a week now, and the sateen weave feels way softer than my old cotton sheets. The box-quilted finish keeps it from sliding around, which is a pleasant surprise.

The box-quilted stitching adds nice texture, though I wish the fabric were a bit heavier for cooler nights. It gives the bed that relaxed, lived-in look I was hoping for.
