Finally got to feel the sateen before committing to full sheets - the weave is noticeably dense and smooth, like a cool glide against your hand. It's a small card but honestly it settles the “is it worth it” question in seconds.
I was skeptical about ordering fabric samples online, but these swatches are cut generously enough to actually feel the sateen weave. The 1850 heritage is nice to know, but really I just needed to confirm the hand-feel before committing to sheets.
Took a while to arrive, but the card itself is exactly what you need to judge the fabric before committing to full sheets. The sateen has a nice weight and that subtle sheen I was hoping for, though I wish the card included a pillowcase sample too.
