Silky-soft Turkish combed cotton is tightly woven in a short, uniform loop for an exceptionally smooth and lightly invigorating feel, with a vertical, sculpted rib for a fresh look and faster drying. With an everyday midweight, Highgate brings a colourful feel to any bathroom.
I was skeptical about the vertical rib design, but it actually dries much faster than my old mats. The Turkish cotton is noticeably softer and doesn't get that stiff, scratchy feeling after washing.
The short loop weave feels incredibly plush underfoot, way softer than typical bath mats I've owned. It's already dried out completely after two showers, no damp smell at all.
The vertical ribbing really does speed up drying, which I appreciate in a damp bathroom. Only giving it four stars because the cotton, while soft, isn't quite as plush as I expected from a bath mat.
