I was surprised by how soft this mat is right out of the package—the silky terry feels much more luxurious than my old cotton mat. Still fluffy after several washes, and the plush midweight makes it perfect for stepping out of the shower.

The fluffiness is exactly what I was hoping for—stepping out of the shower onto this mat feels like a little luxury. It’s surprisingly absorbent for the midweight thickness, and the 100% cotton yarn hasn’t shed a bit after several washes. Exactly what my bathroom needed.

The absorbency is fantastic—soaks up water instantly—but it does take a little longer to dry out completely compared to thinner mats. Still, the softness underfoot makes up for it.
